I have a new obsession with pigs.
I have no idea where this obsession came from...
There is a picture of pigs on a farm in my kitchen… got that for 5 bucks at a Thrift shop. And I even bought a calendar with pigs in sunglasses and hats and things.
I didn’t realize that I was so into them lately until it was pointed out to me.
Not sure if it’s because I feel the need to fight for the little darlings… whose carcass is constantly eaten by my dear sister:
first thought in the morning , "where is the bacon?!"
I guess it could be the horrid pictures that I’ve seen… animals bruised and battered, sick and piled high…. Stuffed into cages for “safe keeping”… dead ones on the floor being trampled by the soon to be. Fattened up solely for human consumption. But then again, we think that everything was created for our consumption don’t we? I’ll spare you the photographic ingenuity.
Anyway, I think they're cute. So now they've secured a place if not in my heart, at least on my apartment walls… definitely OUTSIDE of my belly.
